Meet the latest addition to my Favourite Sellers list on eBay… No, I haven’t actually bought anything from A London Trend yet, but that’s something I suspect will be changing pretty soon. Well, as soon as I actually have some cash to splash, anyway. SEND MONEY.
Some of the clothes here are from the UK high street, others are less recognisable: but if you’re lucky, you may be able to grab something on auction for around £10. I’m in love with the plum coloured glitter shift dress on the right of this picture, so if any of you are wondering what to get me for Christmas, you can just send it right along. Have a Fashion Police badge, A London Trend…
London Fashion Week might seem faraway but we can already hear the rumblings from the fashion industry. The latest addition to the fledgling schedule is Dutch fashion designer Iris Van Herpen who will show as part of Blow Presents, at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
Van Herpen's last collection, 'Mummified' used a palette of neutrals with gold and brass touches and featured details like delicate metal chains, lace leggings and eyelets. She has a way with ruffles, embellishments buckles and lacing which makes us swoon a little and her pieces are firm favourites on our wishlist. A recent graduate from ARTEZ in Arnheim we can't wait to see what she will show this September. Jump through for more images.
Recurring to London among her Spring 2009 collection, Alice Temperley sustained the budding fashion she started in fall 08 for her line, Temperley London. These gazes were her mainly full-fledged up to date.
Unluckily, the Temperley girl looks to have grown-up up to have a several traits disarray: menswear-inspired outfits and grecian dresses, ruffled-out pieces all common the similar catwalk in a quite disjointed show.
All the dresses were shiny and beautiful also the colors of the whole collection are elegant. In this London Fashion Week S/S 2009 many designers presents the best and gorgeous dresses with the latest style and fashions tat you love to wear it, also there was a great and adorable collection of fashion accessories includes hats, sandals, belt, bags.
It was just the beautiful show or fashion event that is memorable for all of us. I love to wear the latest design dresses and accessory of designers.
Kudos galore to Emma Watson, who's embracing her new job as princess of London Fashion by turning up to the premiere of her latest film, Tales of Despereaux, wearing a dress she spotted on the Fashion Fringe catwalk at London Fashion Week. No doubt 22-year-old designer William Tempest is rubbing his hands together with glee as the young starlet - who's recently been spotted with Armani shopping bags and frequently borrows Chanel for the red carpet - chose his navy blue dress for her red carpet appearance, rather than going with a more established designer. It shows creativity on the part of Emma (and her stylist) and it's great to see a young talent supporting other young talent!
The writers and editors of Catwalk Queen are super busy high-tailing it from one fashion show to the next to bring you top coverage for London Fashion Week. Don’t miss their latest reports for day four. Much more outlandish and flashy than the designs from New York Fashion Week, you don’t want to miss these styles. Some of my favorites so far areLuella Bartley, Eley Kishimoto, Peter Jensen, Ashley Isham, Margaret Howell for her quintessential British looks, and a few newer names such as Louise Goldin and Christopher Kane.
